I love it. Its very quiet. It does oscillate but the top portion can be manually turned to maximize or target your AoE. I like it because its tall and has some nice intakes on the back. I set it on the floor where the air conditioning return blows on the back of it and the cool air shoots out across my legs, feet, and ankles. Which is another tip, did you know that you'll stay cooler and cool off faster if you blow the air across your ankles and feet? Its true. That is why they put the hands and feet of overheated athletes in cool water. The close proximity of blood vessels to the skins surface is a great wear to dissipate heat. So put your fan under your desk instead of on top and you won't hear people cry about your noisy fan. I will be getting a second one of these to blow air across the back of my CPU tower to exhaust the hot air that gets trapped there.


This little fan cooled the room faster and to a lower temperature than when I set my huge box fan in the same location. I bought this fan from walmart for 15 bucks.

Have one of those in my cubicle in the office. very nice fan.
